Wrinkles of the City

Artist JR visits Havana Cuba to collaborate with Cuban-American artist Jose Parla to undertake on the latest project of Wrinkles of the City.  A huge project the involves creating gigantic mural installations throughout the urban decade city of Havana Cuba.  The project is a beautiful idea that involves taking picture portraits of elderly people and using their images throughout the city walls, where normally only illustrations of Fidel Castro and Che Guerrera are depicted.  I found the project very inspiring, it allows for the community to get involved and for the people in the forgotten neighborhood to appreciate their culture and see a bit of themselves in the images.
